Jet Set Go is a fun simulation game in which you play the role of travel agent, April, who must keep all of her agency's customers happy.
What do you do in Jet Set Go?
The idea of Jet Set Go is to build up your travel agency business, filling up planes by getting customers to buy flights in your shop. Customers walk through the door and you must tend to them through the whole purchase process, from giving them the brochures to browse to printing out their boarding cards.
It's a classic time management-style game and after the first few 'days' in the travel agency, things start to get very hectic and you'll need to upgrade the facilities within the office in order to cope with all the customers. You can unlock new destinations too, with up-to 12 available in total.
Jet Set Go is pretty repetitive and every day in the office feels the same (much like real life, I guess!) However, there are mini games where you get to travel to the locations and help our serving food or preparing drinks, which helps to add a bit more interest.
How to play Jet Set Go
Jet Set Go is pretty easy to get into, and you are guided through the first day in the office via a well explained walkthrough tutorial system. Essentially, the only actions you perform are clicking on customers to tend to their needs, and dragging them to seat them in certain spots in the office. The skill in Jet Set Go is based on the quickness of your brain rather than the speed of your fingers.
How does it look?
Jet Set Go has a very cute and coloful look, much in the same vein as games like Sally's Spa or Diner Dash. The sprites are pretty detailed and there are several different customer characters that appear as you move through the game. The background music is very soothing, and isn't as irritating like looped tracks in many mobile games.
Jet Set Go is a well presented time management game, which gives you an insight into what it's like to work in a travel agency. The trouble is, after a while you'll realise that the constant grind of doing the same work every day gets a bit boring.
